ACC Atlantic- Florida State

The JFish Preseason Top 25

I'm back!!! College Football season is just around the corner and I'd like to give you guys my
preseason College Football Top 25!

25. Utah- QB Jordan Wynn is back from injury. I like the Utes to perform well.

24. Boise State- Kellen Moore is gone but they have depth at every other postion.

23. Florida- They were immature last year and I like them to come out with a chip on their shoulders.

22. Stanford- Incredible Offensive Line I just don't know how they will fill Andrew Lucks shoes.

21. Texas- Great defense, superb runningbacks, I just don't know if they can produce consistency from the QB position.

20. Nebraska- RB Rex Burkhead is a freak. I also like QB Taylor Martinez to grow up.

19. Wisconsin- Lost QB Russell Wilson but Maryland transfer Danny O' Brien will carry the team.

18.Virginia Tech- 9 starters return from the same team that went to the Sugar Bowl a year ago. I like them to have a good year.

17. Oklahoma State- Shaky QB situation but they have a stud RB in Joseph Randle.

16. Ohio State- New coach Urban Meyer will have the Buckeyes on the right track. I also like QB Braxton Miller.

15. Kansas State- QB Collin Klein is the heartbeat of this team and will have them playing great ball.

14. TCU- QB Casey Paschal grew up last year and I expect a breakout season for the youngster.

13. Michigan State- Fantastic RB core but they have lost leader QB Kirk Cousins.

12. Clemson- Taj Boyd, Andre Ellington, and Sammy Watkins are back. They also play most of their

toughest games at home.

11. South Carolina- Best RB in the country in Marcus Lattimore but they have no QB.

10. West Virginia QB Geno Smith is the best Quarterback nobody talks about. With all the speed the Mountaineers have I expect big things as they join the Big 12.

9. Oregon- RB Kenjon Barner is back as well as RB De'Anthony Thomas. They also have a cupcake schedule. I like the Ducks.

8. Oklahoma- QB Landry Jones is back but OU has had of the field trouble with players which is why I don't have them as high as the would have been.

7. Michigan- QB Denard Robinson returns from a 11-2 season. Don't be surprised if the find themselves in title contention.

6. Arkansas- Tyler Wilson is back and Knile Davis is returning from injury. Lethal backfield.

5. Georgia- QB Aaron Murray has finally grown up and with a stellar defense to back him up he will explode.

4. Florida State- They have had incredible recruiting classes in 2011 & 2012. I think it will pay them dividends for the Seminoles. I think they splash on the scene.

3. Alabama- Alabama loses Trent Richardson but has a returning QB AJ McCarron who is as cool as a

cucumber.

2. LSU- Great Defense as always and they finally have a QB that is capable to lead the team.

1. USC- They are off of sanctions and have College footballs best QB in Matt Barkley. It's hard to not like the Trojans this year.

The Final 4

What is goin' on peeps! It is the Final 4 weekend and I would like to share some of my predictions on the games.


1 Kentucky vs 4 Louisville
Louisville is an interesting team and are difficult to figure out. They don't play good defense, they aren't the most athletic team, rebounding is pitiful, and they really are an off and on team shooting the 3 ball. But they just somehow find a way to win. I honestly have no clue how they win games but they do...it is very strange. Kentucky on the other hand does everything well and is hard to game plan for. This game will come down to Louisville making Kentucky turn the ball over. Louisville can somehow beat Kentucky tonight if they play the game of there lives. But I don't see that happening. I am taking the Wildcats.

2 Ohio State vs 2 Kansas
These 2 teams will be displaying some of the best big men in the game. Jared Sullinger and Thomas Robinson are athletic freaks. These teams are very similar in play, control the ball and feed it to the big guys inside. This game will come down to who can shoot the ball the better. Ohio St features a spot on Point Guard, Aaron Craft, who will take over this game. But with Bill Self coaching the Jayhawks I like them to win.

Championship Week

We are almost to the end of the season...very bittersweet.

#22 Texas @ #17 Baylor
These 2 teams are complete opposites. Texas is very physical and defensive minded and will bruise you up. Baylor will spread you out and use speed to fly past you in open lanes. Will the game be physical? or A shootout? I think that Texas will make this game a very physical one and there defense will make big plays to contain the lethal RGIII.

#24 Southern Miss. vs. #6 Houston
Houston can score at will. I expect a close game at the start, but eventually Houston will wear them down. I like Houston in this game.

UCLA vs. #9 Oregon
Oregon is the obvious favorite, no doubt. But UCLA will be playing for there coach that just got fired. At the end of the day Oregon is just overwhelming on Offense.

ACC Championship Game
#5 Virginia Tech vs. #20 Clemson
V-Tech is white hot right now. The have the best RB in the country that nobody talks about. I really like the Hokies to get revenge on Clemson from the loss earlier this season.

Big 10 Championship Game
#15 Wisconsin vs. #13 Michigan St.
MSU beat Wisconsin earlier this year on a Hail Mary pass. Wisconsin will be looking to get the bad taste out of there mouth. And I think they will.

#10 Oklahoma @ #3 Oklahoma St.
The Cowboys haven't won this game in what seems like ages. They still have an outside shot to get into the Championship game. This game being played in Stillwater makes a big difference. Oklahoma St. in a shootout.

#14 Georgia  vs. #1 LSU
This game will be in Atlanta, GA. The Georgia faithful will show up. LSU will play for a title no matter if they win or lose. I think Georgia will come out hungry and get the upset. No worries LSU fans you will still play in the title game.

As most of ya'll know I am a student at Midway HS. The winner of this game will be 1 win away from state. As you can imagine Midway High School is extremely excited for this game. I gotta pick my beloved Midway Panthers in this game.

Florida State has been a big disappointment this year. I still think that they are a very good football team. Florida has fallen of off the College Football map. I like the Seminoles on the road.

WOW! That's the only word needed to describe RGIII. He sure knows how to put on a show. He is a straight up man. Tech? Ya they aren't looking too hot at all. I'm taking the Bears.

Virginia Tech is on the rise. They are on a path to  BCS bowl game if they take care of business.Bottom line is Virginia is irrelevant in College Football.

It's the battle of Los Angeles. USC looked impressive last Saturday vs. Oregon. Matt Barkeley is one of the best QBs in the country. I think USC will pick up where they left off. UCLA doesn't stand a chance.

Michigan is looking to get to a BCS bowl game, while OSU is just trying to secure a bowl.
I like Michigan to snag a win from there arch-rivals.

Both teams are looking a little confused on the field. It is very difficult to play in Kyle Field. My brain says to pick the Aggies at home. But....as most of you know I have grown up in a Texas house hold. I just can't pick against the Longhorns.

G Tech can score at will. Georgia can win this game easily. But they just have to avoid looking ahed to the SEC Championship game. Georgia is an all around better team. This will be fun to watch.

LSU is so talented. The crowd will be rockin' Friday in Baton Rouge. But this rivalry has seen some strange stuff the past few years. Arkansas has won the last 3 of 4 vs. the Tigers. LSU has a great secondary, but Arkansas can counter. Arkansas in my opinion fields the best WRs in the country. I really feel that Tyler Wilson will go into LSU and get the win. WOOOO PIG SOOIE!
